This is the TCD differential from Rhino Racing – Team AD.
The TCD is directly compatible with Yokomo/Rêve D chassis that uses a straight gear system like YD-2, Rookie Drift, RDX, Super Drift, Master Drift, RD/SD/MD. It’s also possible to install it in the MST RMX 2.5 (with RR-760 adapter), the Overdose Galm (Belt drive pulley) or the Team Associated DC10.
When the throttle is off, it works the same way as a regular gear diff. When the throttle is engaged, the diff will lock and will give you more forward traction from both wheels.
There are different springs to fine tune the engagement point to your liking and the type of track surface. The reaction of the TCD is quicker than a C-LSD. This will let you control when the diff locks and unlocks at any speed.
